Songs of the Season
A Community Lessons & Carols

Tuesday, December 16, 2025 • 6:00–7:00 p.m.

The Church of the Holy Trinity, Rittenhouse Square
Free and open to all

Singing City invites Philadelphia to come together in song, celebration, and community spirit this holiday season. Artistic & Music Director Rollo Dilworth leads Songs of the Season, bringing voices from across the city for a joyful evening of beloved carols, meaningful readings, and shared reflection — all in the beautiful, historic The Church of the Holy Trinity, Rittenhouse Square,  where “O Little Town of Bethlehem” was composed — a true home for holiday music in Philadelphia.

No musical experience needed — just bring your holiday cheer, your friends and family, to this FREE event! Carols will be taken from the Episcopal Hymnal in the pews, and a simple QR code will provide digital access to the evening’s selections. We’ll also honor the wider season with music celebrating Kwanzaa and Hanukkah traditions.

This year’s inaugural gathering is presented in collaboration with our Community Partners:

Led by Singing City’s Artistic & Music Director, Dr. Rollo A. Dilworth.

In the spirit of the season, we invite attendees to bring non-perishable food items to support Open Hearts Café, Holy Trinity's food and clothing ministries program, and Philabundance, helping neighbors facing food insecurity during the holidays. See more information below.

Join us as we celebrate the power of music to uplift, unite, and spark joy — because every voice matters.

PLEASE RSVP by December 10!

Please Bring a Non-Perishable Food Item

In the spirit of the holidays, we’re asking all attendees to bring one item to be donated to a local food bank. However, some foods are more helpful than others.

Open Hearts Café specifically requests: granola bars, fruits, crackers, chips, bagels, spreads, jerky, oatmeal, dessert bites.

Please review the
Philabundance graphic below as you look through your pantry for something to bring. Thank you!
